We do not recommend volcano-surfboarding down the black ash of Cerro Negro Volcano, since this volcano may explode with black ash.

Leon is very peaceful, and it’s the intellectual and poetical center of Nicaragua.  The people of Leon  love to sit in their rocking chairs in the sidewalks in front of their homes until about 10 o’clock every evening, sharing the gift of gab, and engaging everyone who walks by in conversation, including you!
